Coherent Mind Hypnotherapy
About me

About me

It seems to me now, the things I have studied and pursued and bent my back towards learning have come together to form an ideal foundation for this work. In 2012 I studied the Art of Clown under the incomparable David McMurray Smith, releasing stored trauma and working with taboos and the deep healing of true embodied play. I was taught to see and be confounded by the spells of the English language and paradigms of this culture at The Orphan Wisdom school under the incredible mind of Stephen Jenkinson. I have worked within the healthcare system for people at the end of their life. I have worked with children on the spectrum. Through the years there has been various meditation schools, the technique of Vipassana, mindfulness training, shamanism, psychedelics, business psychology courses, Mindvalley university, parenting, permaculture, depression, sickness and so on. So many schools, teachers, healers and programs, so many amazing learning journeys. So much learning and still so much pain.

I found this technique after a life of not feeling good enough, worthy enough, always an outcast, feeling like the things I wanted in regards to career, love, money, stability were not available to me. Progress out of self-hatred and the anxious despair that permeated my psyche was slow. Slow and steady but definitely slow. Then it happened, like in so many stories, in a difficult time, there came a breakthrough for me when I wrote down a statement that has been ringing true since I placed it on paper, this statement was:

RTT-with-Christine

I WANT TO MAKE AN ALLY OF MY MIND!!!

Because whose voice is in there anyway?????? SERIOUSLY.

NO MORE DAMN ENEMIES IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those words still fill me with life force, determination and excitement. It had to be possible to feel a different way, I had to believe it could be so. That maybe even that is part of the meaning of my life and perhaps even all our lives, to aim for self-mastery in this sense. Once I wrote that down my life was without a doubt on a new trajectory and when I came across this technique of Rapid Transformational Therapy I somehow knew in an instant, that I wanted to try it, learn it, immerse myself in it. And I can say that it has been one of the greatest tools I’ve ever encountered because it teaches me ongoingly to understand my mind and what my negative beliefs are, how to encourage the thoughts I want, to make my internal landscape a more pleasant place to be. To make my life, my mind, my perception, simpler, easier, more peaceful. So now armed with this knowledge of how to work with my beliefs, my thoughts, life still is challenging but I have the growing ability to catch the thoughts that are making things more difficult and change my perception and therefore give my body more ease and restfulness. Learning this sometimes feels like a mind-bending superpower which the application of never ceases to amaze me.

THE MIND IS A WONDERFUL SERVANT BUT A TERRIBLE MASTER. -Ram Das

If you are uncomfortable…what are you thinking/believing in this moment? You can track it if you give yourself a chance. Interrupt it. Choose something different and perhaps I CAN HELP and together we can SHIFT YOUR PERSPECTIVE.

Honestly truly deeply I love this work and I am especially excited to work with people trying to get into and down with and psyched up to unleash their creative flow and create healthier ways of being and relating to the world. And also with the young people of this world to dispel the anxiety of unworthiness and help them feel proud of who they are. We live in a system that is geared to diminish us and I want our youth to know that the innate value that we all have, simply because we are alive, can never be compromised. It is such a difficult time to feel at home in our skin and that we belong to this world.

It’s such interesting work to discover our subconscious blocks and I am sure that you will find it valuable to uncover and change the old ways of being and protecting that are no longer working for you. The good news is how you feel about yourself and how you see the world is 99.999999999999999% thoughts and YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS! As Marissa Peer would say ‘Change your thoughts, change your life!’

MY QUESTIONS FOR YOU ARE:

HOW DO YOU WANT TO FEEL or HOW DO YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE YOURSELF?

HOW DO YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE WORLD AROUND YOU?

WHAT KIND OF THOUGHTS AND BELIEFS  DO YOU WANT TO HAVE?
